So, what an ending... I'm still in shock. Not so much about the Izzy parts, since I'm still going *yawn* when Izzy is on the screen. Don't mean to offend anyone, I just really don't like the character, never have. But anywho, a lot happened! And man... what a pain to edit! I was sitting with my hands in my hair, totally confused what I should keep and what not. So to not make the edit of this episode too long, I decided to cut the stuff from Callie from the first part. I kinda needed to use the Arizona scenes to make a bridge to the next part, which was not the case with the scenes from Callie. And besides it was about time that there was some Arizona stuff to focuss on, since it's always about Callie.
And how nice that in the last two (or three, however you want to look at it) episodes the Grey's staff used a song from my beloved Ingrid Michaelson! Two beautiful songs, that I immediately bought from iTunes. So basically, I thought this season final was pretty good! The first part was a little boring, but wow, what an ending! And damn, that Arizona was totally f*ing cute! Finally some really cool stuff with her.
I forgot to post the last two parts. Not that I think anyone watches it here, but I just want to say what I thought of the episodes. Well, just the Calzona stuff, because I don't really watch the rest.
So, basically I'm completely amazed at how many airtime these two are getting, and how little a deal it is. I practically hear no bad things about this pairing. I guess the whole 'pretty' lesbian thing does apply. Case has been proved. As long as two women going together are really pretty no straight person is against it. Funny how this world works. No I must say that I too think that Arizona is cute. But I always liked the actress. I mean... the daughter of Kate Capshaw... have you seen 'A Girl Thing' ?! Haha! But still, no where near as good as Callica. But I also think we should stop complaining already. Things have happened, there's not much we can do now to change things. I'm just looking at this as one of the extremely rare lesbian relationships we're seeing on TV. And with that in mind, this storyline is pretty good! The fact that it's played out as something that is just part of the show makes it really layed back. But that's my opinion. So I'm still entertained enough to keep watching. And besided all I said above, I still LOVE Sara Ramirez... so I don't need a big reason to watch her stuff on the show. Now, let's see what the final next week brings us. Nothing big probably.
So I thought this episode was kinda cute, I mean Calle talking in Spanish was brilliant! The first scene with Callie's dad was really funny! But I'm still not sure what to think about these too. Maybe that is because we haven't seen that much of them. We haven't really had the whole road of falling in love, like we had with Callie and Erica. But still, it's fun enough to keep watching. Although I notice myself getting more bored with Grey's Anatomy every episode... I just don´t really like it that much anymore...
But then again, that might also be because of Otalia, whom I like a lot more at the moment! Although sometimes I think Jessica (Natalia) disappears a little bit next to Crystal's (Olivia) acting abilities. Sometimes Jessica is a little blah, the feelings she's supposed to be portraying just don't really come across for me. But it doesn't really matter, because I can't wait to see what's going to happen next! I almost wish I could do the compilations for them too, but I don't live in the US, so can't watch it... Ah, too bad.
